Sealed proposals to provide medical equipment will be received at the office of the Board of County Commissioners, 107 E. Virginia St, Bonifay, FL 32425; until March 1, 2022, Local Time, on 11:00 am CST at which time the proposals will be opened and read aloud. Proposals received after said time will be returned unopened.

The principal features of this procurement by the County are known as MULTIPURPOSE AGRICULTURE AND PUBLIC FACILITY. The specifications of this procurement are stated in the ITB 2022-01.

The ITB and any addenda issued will be posted to the County’s Website at www.holmescountyfl.com  or can  be obtained by contacting the Katie Taff, Consultant (850) 694-9039 or [email protected].

All technical inquiries and clarification requests shall be submitted in writing to Katie Taff at [email protected] in accordance with the ITB. Verbal clarifications will not be provided.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Holmes County Board of County Commissioners (hereinafter “Board”) has decided to grant Administrative Leave for Thursday, December 30, 2021, to all County employees under the direct supervision of the Board.  As such, the sealed proposals for “County Attorney Services – RFP #21-05, HCBCC” may be submitted to the Holmes County Supervisor of Elections Office, located within the Holmes County Courthouse, 201 N. Oklahoma St., Bonifay, FL 32425.  Said proposals shall still be due by 11:00am (cst) on Thursday, December 30, 2021.

Further, the Board has decided to forego the public opening and committee scoring of the proposals at 11:01am (cst) on Thursday, December 30, 2021.   Instead, all interested proposers should be present and available to answer questions of the Board at the Board’s next regularly scheduled meeting of Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 6:00pm (cst).  At said meeting, all sealed proposals for “County Attorney Services – RFP #21-05, HCBCC” shall be publicly opened and the proposals will then be scored by the entire Board.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD

Intent to Recommend Award:  In accordance with Holmes County Procurement Policies and Florida Law, the Holmes County Board of County Commissioners intends to award the following project to D & J Enterprises, Inc.:

EMERGENCY DISASTER DEBRIS REMOVAL SERVICES – BID #21-04, HCBCC

Award Protest Information:  At the date and time indicated below, this Notice of Intent to Award as well as the Bid Tabulation Sheet was posted in Holmes County, Florida, as well as on the website for the Holmes County Board of County Commissioners.  Any person/firm who is adversely affected by Holmes County’s intended decision shall file with Holmes County a Notice of Protest in writing within seventy-two (72) hours after the posting of this Notice of Intent to Award.  A formal written protest shall then be filed within ten (10) days after the date the Notice of Protest is filed.  The formal written protest shall state with particularity the facts and law upon which the protest is based.  Saturdays, Sundays, and State holidays shall be excluded in the computation of the seventy-two (72) hour time periods provided by in this paragraph.

Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter, 120, Florida Statutes.

At approximately 11:01 am (CST), on December 30, 2021, the proposals will be opened and evaluation by a selection committee chosen by the County.  All proposals must be in sealed envelopes reflecting on the outside thereof the bidder’s name and “COUNTY ATTORNEY SERVICES – RFP #21-05, HCBCC”.

LATE SUBMITTALS RECEIVED AFTER THE AFOREMENTIONED DEADLINE DATE, EITHER BY MAIL, OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND SHALL BE RETURNED UNOPENED.  THE TIME OF RECEIPT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE TIME RECEIVED IN THE HCBCC OFFICE.
