NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Holmes County, Florida will accept sealed bids until 10:00am (CST) December 3, 2021, for Emergency Disaster Debris Removal Services (Bid provisions, bid forms and related specifications may be obtained from the Holmes County Board Office, 107 East Virginia Ave., Bonifay, FL. 32425; Telephone: (850)547-1119; Email: [email protected]

At approximately 10:01am (CST), on December 3, 2021, the bids will be opened and evaluation by a selection committee chosen by the County. All bids must be in sealed envelopes reflecting on the outside thereof the bidder’s name and “EMERGENCY DISASTER DEBRIS REMOVAL SERVICES – BID #21-04, HCBCC”.

LATE SUBMITTALS RECEIVED AFTER THE AFOREMENTIONED DEADLINE DATE, EITHER BY MAIL, OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND SHALL BE RETURNED UNOPENED. THE TIME OF RECEIPT WILL BE DETERMINDED BY THE TIME RECEIVED IN THE HCBCC OFFICE. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BIDDER FOR ASSURING THAT THE BID IS RECEIVED IN THE HCBCC OFFICE BY THE DESIGNATED DATE AND TIME. NO FAXED, ELECTRONIC OR ORAL BID WILL BE ACCEPTED.

The County reserves the right to award the bid to the firm/individual submitting a responsive bid with a resulting negotiated agreement which is most advantageous and in the best interest of Holmes County and to waive any irregularity or technicality in bids received as the County deems in its best interest. Holmes County shall be the sole judge of the bids and the resulting negotiated agreement that is in its best interest and its decision will be final.

To be considered, the Firm must submit an original and three (3) copies of the Bid in sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with the Firm’s name and address, and the words “EMERGENCY DISASTER DEBRIS REMOVAL SERVICES – BID #21-04, HCBCC” on the cover addressed to:

Separate sealed BIDS for: HOLMES COUNTY FEMA RIP-RAP will be received by HOLMES COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS at 107 E VIRGINIA AVE, BONIFAY, FL 32425 until August 5, 2021 at 11:00AM (CST).  The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.  The bids will be awarded at the next scheduled Holmes County Board of County Commissioners Meeting.  All Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: “Sealed Bid: Holmes County FEMA RIP-RAP”

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS include all pertinent attachments necessary in order for bidders to properly respond.  The documents may be examined at the following location:

MEDICAL AND PRESCRIPTION COVERAGE

Holmes County Board of County Commissioners will be accepting sealed proposals for Medical and Prescription coverage in the office of the County Administrator, 107 E Virginia Ave., Bonifay, FL 32425 until June 10th, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. CST. The proposals shall be marked on the outside of the envelope “RFP – Medical and Prescription Coverage.” Any proposal received after 2:00 p.m. CST on the above date will not be accepted and will be returned unopened to the responder.

Entities interested in submitting a proposal should contact Glenn Little, Barnes Insurance at (850) 748-1720 or via email at [email protected] between the normal office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to obtain the list of criteria which will be used to complete the proposal. The deadline for submission to Holmes County, Florida is Friday, June 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. CST. Any proposals received after 2:00 p.m. on the above date will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. Failure to submit all requirements in the specified format may disqualify the submittal.

Barnes Insurance and Financial Services is the appointed agent of record and will be assisting the County in this evaluation.

Holmes County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any formalities, and negotiate and award in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to waive any irregularities in the proposal.
